Grandson on TLB

Jim, it sounds as if your years of teaching on your jobs is coming in handy with the grandson. I'd say he's lucky to have someone like you and Kathy.

You absolutly hit it on the head. I've never met Jim & Kathy ... however putting it together reading post one can come to the conclusion that good people do good things. Happy Thanksgiving.

thats what i am doing with my three nephews there mother (my sister) just left them when they was 1/2/3 they are now 5/6/7 and i have been letting them drive the lawnmower and just recently bought them a 1215 nh hydrostat tractor and they love it. it is just something to keep there minds off of everthing else and since me and my mother as had them full time they are doing really good in school because they know if they dont they cant drive there tractor it has helped alot thats all most kids wont is a little attention

Jim it is a wonderful thing you are doing for your grandson, I commend you for it and I know it will make such a positive change in that young man's life. Good luck

Great post Jim. Sure does a person good to see a young one grow and learn how life really is. Computers and like stuff is great for a entertainment, but does not teach many life skills.
