Grandson project - simple electric motor

I helped my grandson build this motor. Just got the video work done and put it on Youtube. Teacher very pleased with the project.

That is just about the simplest version of a DC motor I have seen with both directional and speed control . A really novel execution. Good show.:thumbsup:

Was a lot of fun developing. I put a lot more details on making the motor on the Instructables web site (stills and other stuff). Crazy number of views there but then again it is the kind of project they typically run.
