And visiting with the parts department you may learn there is a Whole Goods kit you can purchase that would provide everything needed to make those switches work.That is what I was saying. I don't think they are wired to anything. I believe the buttons were made into the joystick for the addition of a third function valve.
It appears that your dealer chose not to use a separate valve but opted to utilize your rear remote. That really should have been a decision made by you not them. Basically they took the cheapest and easiest path to work your grapple.
You could call the dealer, assuming they are still in business, and ask them if they could add a true third function valve. They may not even know how which would be sad.
I much prefer using switches on the joystick. Having to let go of the joystick and use a separate lever would frustrate me greatly.....
