grass shreading blades

I saw a Ferris mowing blade that has regular cutting edge on the front side and the back side looked like sharks teeth. Dealer didn't know if any were made for Kubota. Anyone out there Know of any. I know Ferris blades are meant to spin alot faster than regular blades. Sorry, no pictures.

Sounds like the "Gator Blades" I tried a couple years ago. I used them on a Caroni RFM. There were no blades listed for my mower, so the dealer went through his stock and found something close enough - right length but I had to enlarge the mounting holes. There was no noticeable difference with them on my deck. Maybe it's because the tip speed is slow on that deck, or maybe they just don't work as well as they're hyped up to do............chim

I agree with Chim; sounds like gator blades. A neighbor, a brother-in-law, and I all three bought sets of them. Performance does not match the hype; a waste of money.

We have blades similar to what you described for our Dixon ZTR. But they are mulching blades used in the fall to chop up leaves. They work real well for that, but do not make any difference with mowing grass.

we use the gator blades on our walk behind commercial 48 and 36 inch hydrostatic exmark mulch mowers. they do a better job than the factory installed mulch blades. the fins help keep the grass longer in suspension. therefore smaller clippings are produced. we will never bag another blade of grass and hole it away for no one.
