Replaced the cub cadet, it was time served its purpose well. It is a gravely 252 like it. Cut mowing time in half. Scary on the hills, but it is do able. Installed mulching kit, works OK...., don't have to worry about where discharge is going anymore. Verdict is not in on how much I like it.

Put that ROPS up and use the seat belt, especially on hills. We recently had a guy here that slid down a hill out of control on a ZTR, and went over wall. The ZTR landed on top of him.

ZTR's on side hills take some getting used to. Even when your good and stable, till you get used to the feeling, it feels unstable. Definatly put the ROPS up and wear your seat belt if it has one. Better safe than sorry. Looks like a nice ZTR, we have had a few thru our shop for service and general repairs. Mike

Should you mow up and down the hill instead of at that angle?

I do put the ROPS up and wear the seat belt on the hills. Where I am at up down is not an option. I have a very small part at this angle, takes some getting used too, need to go slow, if you do not have an out at the bottom just plain don't want to do it. I have another spot with a wall, there you mess up you are plain screwed, its flat up to it. It just that if you move the controls a little wrong your going over and it would not take much. I won't go near that with out the ROPS and seat belt on.
