Just bought a 5240 from a guy that hadn't used in in 5 years or so. He told me didn't know much about it and that he used hydraulic fluid in the transmission. Should I drain this and put 30 weight oil in it or leave it as is? If so how would I go about draining it?

Just in case you haven't figured it out by now...

I think there's a bolt in the side of the transmission housing. Pull the bolt and the oil should drain. If it were mine, I'd DEFINITELY replace the ATF with 30W.
