Anybody have any gravely history? I 've seen articles about them. I seen that A gentleman named Mr Harper was one of Mr Gravelys right hand machinist back in the 1940's. What I've seen is that he split ways with Gravely and went off on his own and opened a Machine Shop in Dunbar called Harper Machine. He also was a teacher at Stonewall High School in Charleston WV. I believe Harper Machine is still in business today, their machine shop is located right across the street from the old gravely plant in Dunbar WV. My wife works on near there. I have old lathes at my work from Stonewall High School Machine Shop from back in the 1940's when Harper was the teacher there. A lot of history with the Gravely Company. Anyone have any facts or history to add. Thanks
