I have recently acquired a early 70's Super Convertible 2 wheeled tractor with many attachments. I got it running and serviced it (oil, filter, air filter, battery etc) and after I did the oil leaked out of the drain plug. The service manual says there is a gasket of some sorts on the oil plug... cant seem to find one in the parts list. Does anyone know about this???

Any help I can get would be great

Thanks

Is it the engine crankcase or gearbox? let us get that out of the way first.

If you have a Gravely engine tractor there is only one drain. The drain plug (left side front of the axle) does have a gasket. It originally had a nylon tab/washer that said "Drain".

Kohler-engined tractors will have a separate engine drain plug.
