I have a friend with an older elevated fuel tank that appears to be in remarkably good condition. He wants nothing for it. Hose would have to be replaced. I am leary though of an older tank, and not sure if filters can be fitted to a gravity feed tank. I was leaning toward using it for gasoline for mowers and generator on the property. I also use diesel, but the tank is 150 gallons, which is overly large for what I use for tractor diesel, and overly small for what I use for the motorhome. I'm kinda talking myself out of it. So just thought I would get additional feedback. It would be handy as can be to have the gasoline storage on site. But I don't want endless problems either.
