Can anyone out there either point me in a direction or provide a list for all or most of the gray market brands and perhaps their American counterpart? I have compiled a small list to this point, but would like for it to be more complete.

Try this link:

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www1.sphere.ne.jp/delmundo/farm/yanmar.htm>http://www1.sphere.ne.jp/delmundo/farm/yanmar.htm</A>

This place lists almost every model of every brand of import tractor from Japan with specifications. The small buttons below the the word "specifications" are for each brand, just hold your cursor over the botton and it will spell out which brand and then click.

By the way, why don't you register so we know who we are talking to here, being annonymous here should not benefit you in any way, and some people will not reply to you!

You will be hard pressed to find anyone able to tell you all the crosses from Japanese to U.S. tractors as this information seems to comprehensive and I am not aware of anyone doing a list per se for all the different brands. The Yanmar's are pretty easy to figure out.

Unfortunately, there is no info on the Yanmar F series tractors.

What specifically about F models do you want to know.

I'd really like to have a complete list of all the F series tractors. In particular, I'd like to know what FX (powershift) tractors were made. In the YM series, there were YM1110, YM1510, YM1610, YM1720, YM1810, YM1820....

For example, what were the smallest F and FX tractors made by Yanmar? So far, the smallest I've seen meantioned is the F13, and the smallest powershift I've seen meantioned is the FX17. I was hoping there was something like an FX13.

I have a YM1301D with a loader that would be great with a powershift transmission. It seems unusual that Yanmar would jump from a YM1110 to the YM1510 with no powershifts in between, and I wondered whether that had changed with the F series.

The FX's go all the way up to FX42's but as you already know the FX17 is the smallest powershift until you get up to 1986 and there is an FX165.

I have seen F##, FF##, and F###. What are the typical years for these models? What comes after the models? At what point (if any) do the models begin to resemble new compact tractors as far as dimensions, horsepower, and weight. The new compacts in this country are low, wide, and weigh less when compared with the older YM#### Yanmars with the same horsepower.
