For general greasing.. I usually buy the cheaper tube greases in bulk.. though not the thin stuff.. IE.. get a #2 or #4 grease.. and since you don't know what it had.. grease it til the old grease is pushed out.
A #2 grease with EP (Extreme Pressure) and High Temperature ratings covers just about all tractor greasing needs. (Loader pins/pivots can benefit from a moly grease.)
