Has anyone installed grease zerks on their top link or did yours come with zerks allready installed.I replace my top link about every year because the ends are loose. I am wondering if being able to grease them would help or hurt by attracting dirt.I am using a cat. 2. on cat. 1 Or is the problem cheap aftermarket top links.

The top link that came with my Kubota has a zerk, the longer top link that I bought from TSC does not. I grease both. Others on TBN suggested extending the zerk-less top link to expose the working threads, applying grease by hand, and returning the top link to operating length. This has worked well for me. Both links are almost 6 years old. No apparent wear or looseness.

I put never seize on the threads. I am talking about greasing the ball sockets.

I have never worried about or wore out the ball ends.

G'day you are right to put anti seize on the threads but dont put any thing on the ball ends as this does attract dust and turns the grease into grinding paste and will wear them out in no time best of luck :)

I use Slip Plate aerosol graphite on the balls, and put a grease zerk in the midpoint of each threaded region on the takeup collar.
