I'm having a problem greasing the lower swing pivot on my BT900 hoe on my L35 Backhoe. I read another post where someone else had the same problem.
The zerk fitting is located with so little head room clearence, that a hand operated grease gun can't get on it. I tried an offset 45 degree zerk but the swing cylinder hits it. I also tried an offset 45 degree grease gun tip with no luck. The original zerk is reset so a slide on grease gun tip will not work either.
I'm now inserting the offset zerk, greasing the pivot and replacing the offset zerk with the original fitting. What a pain and I'm kind of out of options.
There's a pile of L35 backhoes out there. Someone else must have encountered this problem. I sure would appreciate some help.
