Just curious what type of grease in everyone using? From general to moly based... what's your choice?
BTW have tractor supply close and many big box auto-parts stores.
thanks

I picked this up on Amazon and it's worked for me. I am not a commercial user, 200 hours in 3 1/2 years, but I purchased bulk figuring if I have it I will use it- and that's been the case.

I feel moly is fine for sliding bearings. For roller or ball bearings I'd go with the tacky red stuff or a lithium grease.

I use multi purpose NLGI #2 synthetic grease for everything - bearings, u joints, and bushings.

I like the TSC marine & offroad grease.

for the tractor, i don't obsess about the grease type, just frequency of lube.
i've found over the years that grease hardens & can be a bear to break loose.
so time interval is just as important as hrs on the machine between lubes

as a footnote, i've found Lucas marine grease resists hardening over time & moisture conditions
