I saw this deal from another site, and figured some of you here might benefit. Amazon has machine screws and other fasteners for cheap. I bought 1400 fasteners for $20.

I'm usually paying 3 or 4 cents a piece for them at the hardware store. At $0.28/100 the payback is pretty quick on these.

What do you use those very short ones for?
As they get longer price goes up a bunch.

The short screws are great for attaching sheet metal to wood like when I'm mounting drawers with drawer rails. The machine screws are good for sheet metal to sheet metal like on the front of a hood of a lawn tractor, etc.
