ALL that this canadian dealer did was machine a
set of mating flanges to mate a Mattracks track set to an 853?

The added height would prevent most if not all the attachments to
be used and thats something that I do not think that Farmerboybill,
Joel or John would want to see even with the lower ground pressure
per square inch. This dealer made it possible to use the 853 with a
spare set of RTV Mattracks in deep snow during the winter months.

The problem would again be the mounting adapter flanges and the potential for
damage to the final drive.

That's a rather cool little tool! The sled reminds me of the days growing up back on the farm. Dad built a sled somewhat larger than the one shown and it was probably the most used accessory with the 8N. Very versatile and it didn't roll away when parked. Used on dirt and gravel more than snow. Handy for hauling 55 gallon barrels of water, feed, etc. around the farm.
