- Massey Ferguson, Farmall M (actually a working tractor, not a collector's item)
Greetings,
Participating in forums is new to me, so please be patient.
I live in Eastern Washington (the dry side of the state) where we have some wheat land that is currently farmed by a local tenant. I maintain the CRP ground, a woodlot, etc., with a couple of old Farmalls.
We've recently bought some property where we plan to build a home. We'll have the contracting done professionally (I'm getting older), but I plan to improve that land myself.
I'm currently looking for a compact utility tractor, 4WD, with FEL, in the 35 horsepower range. Unfortunately, I've got long legs and big feet, so a number of the CUTs don't work well for me. So far, the only 35 HP tractors with comfortable space for this operator seem to be Massey Ferguson and Mahindra.
Any thoughts out there?
Also, I'm trying to figure out how to post a new thread directly to the Mahindra and M-F groups. Can you suggest how I how I go about this?
My thanks in advance,
