Hi Everyone,
New to the forum - and home/land-ownership in general. My wife and I bought our first house on a 5 acre plot and needless to say, we've never been more terrified/happy in our entire lives; wouldn't trade it for the world.
Thankfully the house itself doesn't need much work, but the land has been ignored for quite a few years. And this North-Carolina clay is already proving to be a worthy adversary We have high hopes though, that some time and elbow grease will get the land back to where we'd like it.
I'm starting from scratch over here, so I'm eager to get to searching the forum for the advice and help I need. I've got a lot of big purchases to make, the soonest of which is probably a chainsaw, tractor, and zero-turn.
Thanks to the mods and everyone else that keeps this place running!
