Howdy. I'm a new member of your sight and hope to frequent this site often. I recently sold my 1994 Cub Cadet 2084 Super Garden tractor. The only options on it were a 45" 2-stage blower, partial steel cab; small defroster inside for windshield; front windshield wiper; top cab work lights; rear cab reverse lwork light; 75 lb wheel weights; (5) 42 lb suitcase weights with rack; wheel chains. The tractor was used to clear snow off myt two driveways and had approximately 212 "original" hours on the unit. That was then......
This is now: tomorrow 11/06/09 my new 2010 Cub Cadet SC2450 Yanmar will appear in my driveway. As you know the SC2450 comes with the back hoe and front bucket. My options are as follows: all steel cab with roof mount work lights; in cab heater/defroster; 45" 2-stage snow thrower; front hitch for mounting blower; hydraulic chute controls.
The former tractor was a 2-wheel drive gasoline...this is a 4-wheel drive diesel...I'm stoked! Difficult choice tomorrow which to try outr first...front bucket or back hoe. I have numerous jobs for each.
Anyway, after a while of using this new Cadet, I'll report my findings in case anyone else is interested in this slick leetle tractor.
