Just joined after I bought a "70's model Ford 3000 diesel. As soon as I began to run it at home it died after 10 mins of use. I let it cool off and it started again. I thought that it might be trash in the fuel. After running it for 10-15 mins each time, it continues to die out, and now the RPM's will rev up just before it dies out. So, I thought I better look for some advice on the internet, and wound up here. I am thinking that I will take it to the mechanic tomorrow, but will be embarrased if its simply a filter. Thanks for giving the opportunity! JP
