Welcome!
Most of what you'll get as replies in the "new member introductions" section is "welcome to TBN". You'll probably have better luck posting in one of the Q&A sections.
Me personally, I would not want to mow 5 acres with a backhoe hanging off the back end. After you have dropped and reconnected the backhoe a couple times, you'll have it mastered. They go on and off so easily it's really a non-issue in my mind. I don't even like having a front loader when mowing honestly, but I live with it for the weight on my hills. Wide belly mowers tend to have more scalping issues than an equal width 3pt finish mower on uneven terrain. They're also more difficult to get on and off than a 3pt unit (unless you spend the big money on one that can be dropped and picked up from the operators seat, but spending a bit on a 3pt quick attach is cheaper and negates much of that advantage). They're also more difficult to work on when something goes wrong. My personal opinion is the only reason to go belly mower is if you have lots of smooth ground to cover, and you want a short unit for maneuverability (which would mean taking the backhoe off anyway). If the length isn't an issue, then I think you'll be better served long term with a 3pt finish mower. Pull 3 lynch pins and undo the PTO shaft (generally releases with a button-press) and the 3 point mower is off. 3 more pins and the 3 point links are out of the way, then you are ready to hook up the backhoe. Doesn't take long and isn't difficult.
Good luck!
