We have not seen rain in over a month. Our January average is over 4.5"; this January we got 0.17" total. Yikes!

This mild winter makes it seem just great.

Groundhog receipe,,shoot one young ground hog,[not an old one],,skin him out and gut him,cut head and feet off. wash him off real good,,put him in a pot of boiling water,,boil him for 15 min or so than change the water and boil him till he gets a little tender with fork,but don't over boil. quarter him up,,salt and pepper and roll in flour,,melt some bacon grease in large skillit,,and fry the quarters up till they are brown like chicken,, thingy
