I'm pretty sure i've seen post on this same subject before it happened to me. Here's the deal:
Tractor operates fine when squeky clean and lubricated but after an hour or two of use, throttle either
A. sticks high (won't idle down)
B. sticks low (won't throttle up)
C. Idles low when throttle is high then corrects under load (PTO engages)
I've looked at the linkage and everything seems to be in place and moving. It appears that the force required to adjust carb/governor is not provided by throttle position/spring tension. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
