I got lucky and 'stole' one. Some liquidator had it on e-bay last spring. It was new in crate, possibly missing small parts. Got it for just over $800 delivered to my door. Cost me a whopping $5.45, for a new belt tension spring. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
It is a heck of a tiller and does one very fine job. Can't say I would have bought one at reg price though.

That fact talked me out of buying the 1554. I though it would be nice to have a tiller and some other things. Luckily I asked what the options cost beforehand.
Bagger: ~$450.00
Tiller : ~$2,500.00 !!!!!!!!!!!
I said: "Stop right there. I don't want to know what the other options cost"
I was thinking the tiller would be like $500-600.....kinda like a regular stand-alone tiller.
