A friend's daughter and her husband separated and abandoned this tractor outside. It wouldn't crank and wouldn't move, according to them. They told me to come get it but I'd have to drag it onto the trailer. I went there, looked it over, the wiring is a mess, for some reason instead of replacing the solenoid they just tried to bypass all that and jumped it at the starter side of the solenoid to start it. In about 20 minutes I had it running and drove it on the trailer and took it home. The 54" deck won't raise and and lower and it doesn't engage, but the tractor runs like new. It has the B&S 26 H.P. V-twin ohv engine and dual range Hydrostatic unit. It was used to cut 3 acres +- for 2-3 years. Looks great, good tires, one little split in the seat. Only real complaint is the seat is too close to the steering wheel, even all the way back. I have a Craftsman HD zero turn with a 46" deck and I had planned to use this for towing and blade work, but this thing is so fast and with a 54" cut, I may consider mowing with it as well. My new house is going to be more open with less trim mowing to do and the yard is larger. Still once you mow with a ZTR it's hard to go back!
