Rotary Cutter Guage wheels on rotary cutter

I have a Farm Force rotary cutter and I was considering adding guage wheels for the front so it would not scalp on the uneven terrain, has this ever been done? I have one field that is very uneven and the mower leaves lines in the ground where the front digs in. Anyone have any ideas?? thanks.

First one is to raise the cutting height. Second - if not already so equipped - install a flexible toplink bracket. If so equipped - and operated properly - scalping should be at least minimized, if not eliminated altogether.
