Yesterday, I was given an old, yellow paint flaking off, rotten boards, been sitting forever, trailer. Now I have to move the thing home for resurrection. It has 3 Dexter axles with electric brakes on all. Two of the tires and rims are missing. So, I went to check the tires for size thinking I would need replacements. Nope, the four there still hold air. Guess 12 ply tires have to sit longer to dry rot. So, I swapped around to get four tires on the front two axles and will pull the third axle out to get it home. Now, the dilemma, determining the unloaded weight. The jack handle has been broken off below the point of no return and the ram part is bent. The tag on the trailer is "TOTE-Em ALL" and it is a deckover, pintle hitch. The bed framing is made from 6"channel and the cross braces are 3" channel. overall length ~23 feet. Bed is in two sections 3 feet x 94" and 16 feet x 94" With a hydraulic tilt cylinder between them /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
So, what are the guesses on the weight?
