Thank you for the input. Yes the trailer has brakes but they haven't been used in years. We have owned it for 6 years and only tow it to the county fair, bring it back after a week and it sits until the following year's fair.
I told the guy interested in buying it that it weighed 6000 lbs. I haven't had time to get it properly weighed but the tongue is stamped "Class 3 hitch". My class 3 hitch is 6k so I figure this is the safest thing to say.
I still want to get it weighed but I need to have a day where I can get away from work long enough!
