guinea hens do you have any tell me what you think

We have community guineas that all the neighbors share (4 of us). My daughter loves them she like to run at them to hear them rattle, they sound like a vacuum that sucked up a sock. They seem to keep the bugs down but do like soft leafy plants in the garden. Very stupid..... Had one run in my shop and got stuck so all the others ran in and got lost too. That was fun trying to run 20 of them out. They don't seem to fall victim to predators here but we don't have many either. Raccoons are already scared of my place :confused3: We have a small population of coyotes but I make sure to greet them whenever I see one :laughing:. Other than that their safe, except one neighbor that hates them. Very good at letting you know when the ups man or anyone else is in the yard.

Funny this thread came along when it did
I just saw a guinea on a recent episode of American Pickers that was shot in West Texas. I was watching it this afternoon on the DVR
I don't ever remember seeing one on TV before
