Guys Need advice on How to remove this...

Need of help guys, i want to remove this plate to change the oil seal,i read a thread here in tractorbynet that someone tried to remove it the cast iron casing broke.thus this plate is attach something in the inside?My tractor is TS1610.Many thanks.
