Spreader H&S Manufacturing - Manure Spreader

Hello,

Does anyone out there own a H&S manure spreader? How is the quality?

I am looking for info on manure spreaders and I saw one at a farm show today. The spreader was manufactured out of galvanized aluminum so it wouldn't rust. The guy who owned it was very impressed with it.

Does H&S have a home page? Any info would be appreciated.

Our local co-op has these forsale. Looks nice and they come in a wide size range, everything from a wheel driven lawn tractor towable to large PTO driven models.

I can't really speak for the small units like you're looking for, H&S products are quite popular with dairy farmers around here. No one I know of has ever had quality issues with any of their products. Good stuff, I'd say.

I don't know about those but I've got the Furst and it's great. I use it every single day and not a problem with it for two years now.

You might also want to check out Mill Creek Manufacturing in Lancaster, PA (www.millcreekmfg.com)-- not that far north of you. Theros Equipt in Gainesville or Fredericksburg had one of theirs in stock not long ago -- seemed like a nice small unit for folks with just a few horses. I have been looking also.
