Had some TBN visitors yesterday

Many years ago before my wife and I got married, I sponsored a Texas TBNer fishfry at my place. Of course it was also open to any TBNers and Mr & Mrs Buckle97 (Lawrence and his wife, Angie) came from McComb, MS. I believe they were in the area visiting relatives and were able to stop by.

Yesterday, they stopped in again for a short visit and brought their beautiful little daughter, Beth. Of course, I forgot to get pictures. Lawrence took a couple, so maybe if he sees this post, he will upload a photo or two.

We had a nice visit and a whirlwind tour of all my current projects. Afterwards, we went to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant before they headed out. It was terrific to see them and hear how their family is growing and what they are doing at their home in McComb. It is amazing how close we have become to our TBN friends. It's always a thrill to see them face-to-face again.

We had a great time with Jim and Kathy yesterday. It's obvious they love children because Kathy had coloring books and balloon animals within arms reach when we arrived. The Mexican lunch we were treated to was almost as good as seeing Jim's progress on all of the many projects he has going on.

Jim showed my daughter how to feed his catfish and she really enjoyed that.

Jim is right that a lot of us have formed great friendships over this place we call TBN.

In a way... TBN is like an extended family of sorts.

I'm always learning something here and passing it on.

My brother has even asked my what the "Internet Tractor Friends" think of a particular brand of tractor.

Jim, we might actually get up your way next year. Seems like the only time we are in that part of Texas is when we head to Colorado. I do have some of my Texas Young Farmer friends up in your area also.

I have met TractorErnie before and always enjoy visiting with him. :thumbsup: Great guy, so knowledgeable, he's a great friend. :thumbsup: We do our share of tractor talk too.
