Halloween hay ride

May not be a "Projects" worthy post, but couldn't think of where to put it.

2nd year doing this. It is alot for the fourwheeler, but it's only once a year.

2 kids and 6 adults


We were out for about two hours. Houses are pretty well all spaced a couple hundred feet appart... so this seems like the best way. There was another doing the same in our subdivision.

Looks like a lot of fun. Do you take it into town so the kids can trick or treat from it?

Oh no, we just stay in our subdivision... but yes they were trick or treating from it. The adults had their own treats in the cooler, but I (driving) stayed dry until we got home.

so were the kids embarrassed or excited about the ride?

beats the louder riding lawn mower and trailer i have seen many times

Supper excited. We had three last year, but the 8 year old decided to go with her friends.

This was our set up this year - adults like it more than the kids I think. My boy is getting older and this may have been the last year he wants to go with me.

I love hay rides!!! Especially being the driver I showed my wife these pics and we got to talking that when we build our addition and have more room to entertain, that we are going to have a Halloween party here with a hay ride on our land before it gets dark. Maybe after it's dark too with everyone having a flashlight.
