Hand throttle landini 8880

Hi. I have a landini 8880 and it has both a foot and a hand throttle. My problem is that there is no tension on the hand throttle so it is necessary to hold it down all the time otherwise it returns to idle. Any help is appreciated

not sure about yours... there is usually a friction nut or washer at the end of the handle, underdash. tighten just enough to hold the throttle in place

Agree, there should be a nut to tighten on the linkage, likely at base of the throttle level.

Thank you for the input .Nothing is easy to get at for the throttle . I will check it out tomorrow
