Snow Handle support bracket for my 2360 snowblower won't fit

Hello-

I'm having an issue with my 2360 install. The bracket that supports the snowblower handle is not aligning with the bolt holes on the GC1715 frame. Does anyone have a photo of the bracket installed?

I don't know if this will help, but maybe you can compare with your MF 2360 manual.

Is your 2360 a recent model and do you have the instruction manual? I checked my manual to MF RED's and it is slightly different, mine also has a blurb on 1700 series install. It would appear that bracket you are using is not correct for you tractor. There is an "item 10" bracket not shown on MF RED's PDF. This bracket "10" is similar to bracket "9" but bolts to the frame under the right foot.

The bracket you are attempting to use is for 2300 series tractors with no front loader option. I'll post a photo of the pages if required once my camera charges up.

I just got my 2360 and the dealer sent the wrong bracket at first. My manual only covers the 2300-2400-2600 series and even then, there are three different brackets shown in the manual. The one I was originally sent was not even one of those three.

I think with this stuff, a dealer call is the fastest solution. I'll post a pic of the one I got originally below, see if it looks like the one..

Just note that my dealer did not "know" which bracket was the right one and I had to take their picture of the one they thought was the right one and tell them I thought it was worth sending. One issue with MF is that their dealer support/product knowledge is sketchy at times. You may need to work with them to solve the issue.

Another idea if there is confusion about the right bracket is you could also contact RAD-tech in Quebec. They make the snowblower and once you have a piece of their gear via the manufacturer, they are helpful with answering questions.

This one fits a 1723e, with a loader frame.

I know this because the used 2360 I bought was mounted on a 23xx series and the bracket that came with was not right. The other long bracket in the parts book is not right. The short one was right.

Without the loader frame though, I do not know.

You can see I'm not in the US, so I'm wondering who you are talking to? The original poster?

I think even an American court would throw that lawsuit out. Like with my purchase, the dealer send the "latest" bracket, and MF is not great at clear documentation, even to the dealers, it turns out.. so it was quickly resolved. Hopefully the OP can get the same dealer support.
