Thanks to all you veterans out there.
Very true, sadly most do not understand today is to pay reverence for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for God and country. Veterans today morn the loss of brothers, and pay homage to those families who paid a dear price for their freedom. If our nation would take just a few moments to pray for those who are home with their Lord, this day would benefit greatly.Took my dad (Vietnam combat vet) to our national veterans cemetery. Nothing happy about Memorial day. It was quite hard watching him pay his respects to his fellow fallen friends. It ticks me off that most people treat this day like it's supposed to be a party. God bless all who gave everything as well as to those who came back having to deal with the horrible pain of war.
