I went to the Baptist church I grew up in tonight with my 84 year old mama. The town I am from has a Baptist and a Methodist church and every Thanksgiving the churches rotate on who has the fellowship. When at the Baptist church, the Baptist church feeds the Methodist and the Methodist preacher gives the sermon and vice versa. There is nothing like seeing old friends you grew up with and the little old ladies that say how nice you look. I am so glad I grew up near a small town where everybody knows each other and help each other out.

So cold... Lunch at a buffet. Seafood, no turkey, mashed tators or stuffing. Should be 18 degrees in the morning. Kids went with us for lunch. Best part is the first of the week, we all leave for the Philippines. Very cold for the next few days, but step off a plane in Manila in a few days and it will be 85 or 90.
