Harbor Freight Air Compressors

I need a new air compressor, and I don't want to spend much, as it isn't going to get heavy use. Mostly to fill tires, occasionally to run an impact wrench when I rotate tires, and to run my pneumatic goat hoof trimming shears.

In the February flier, they have 2 small compressors on sale for $64.99 each. Each is a 3 gallon; 970880 standard design and 95275 pancake. Has anyone had an experience with either of them?

They also have 67696, 6 gallon 150 PSI "Professional" air compressor on sale for $99.99. Anyone have any experience with that one?

Never used the ones you've mentioned, but I have this one:
Portable Air Compressor - 2 HP, 8 Gallon, 125 PSI
IIRC, I paid $89 for it, on sale. It's been really good, so far. I've probably had it 5 or 6 years, and it's been used a bunch. The only trouble I've had is the off/on switch has just about quit working, but I just unplug it when finished.

I've never had one of their air compressors, but the rest of their air tools I have had good luck with. You can use the "search this thread" button to find what your looking for.

I don't have any experiences with their compressors. but, I have a friend that has the small pancake ones & he complains that they take too long to build up any pressure.Ie: it will build to 125 psi but, it takes a while to get there
