Looks to be a good alternative to lets say Ryobi. Something I'd look into it if I was looking. Cheap enough. Not sure the discount coupons will work on these though....

I got a HF e-mail about those today. I'll watch and wait to see what people think. I'm betting they will be on the coupon exempt list at least for awhile.

looking at alot of the bauer stuff - they all are chicago electric stuff - just rebranded so its harder for people to buy, swap and return. they also added few tools not previously there. you get what you pay for -- for the once or twice useage - its fine. but those who use it on the job or alot - it only lasts a year at the most like me. my regular hammer drill, already burned up after a year, my sds hammer drill finally stopped hammering. it helped me to get to get the job done and now i need to get quality stuff. its not cheap.

I'll wait and see. The track record on HF electrical stuff isn't exactly great. While it's possible they have decided to market something that is actually worth the money, the marketing hype isn't proof of that, or even supporting evidence.
I won't predict that these will turn out badly, but I'll let other people's $$$ pay for the real-world testing.
