Was out over the weekend removing snow (ice) banks from the driveway and just plain old getting seat time. I have to tell you I was having a ball and love that Kioti. Get alot of heads turning when folks drive by.:)

Fun, ain't it?

I was up at the end of our road today knocking down the huge snowbanks next to the highway and from around the mailboxes. The best part was the 42 degree weather. It's a tough job, but someones got to do it.

Sure does help beating the winter blues...not don't go pushing the snow off the lawn like some of us already have. ;)

I wish I could say that today here in western Iowa. Another 12", 40mph winds, and nothing but mud under the snow.

I have to admit...that is extreme and definitely work. I give you credit for trying. I ran out of snow so I picked up the piles and moved them down stream of the driveway so to speak. Everything here kind of turned to Ice before I could get to it so without the tractor the snowblower would have been useless. Getting the hang of the loader...easy seat time.

In that picture I was able to dig it out in about 15 minutes. I got it stuck this afternoon on another hill that took me 2 hours to get it out. I put it in the shop. I'm going to wait a couple days for melting. We walk to our vehicles that are almost 1/4 mile away.

I will be buying a snowblower. I could have had this place opened up in 1/4 the time I've wasted. One of the farmers said this only happens once in ten years. I'm not counting on it. Need a 5 to 6 foot unit.
