Rake harley rake

i have used a harley rake a few times on bare soil with really good results..my question is has anyone used one on a site with vegatation ? it is on a yard i am going to put in , it is mostly weeds but has been kept cut regular..i dont own one but have rented one...a little to pricie just now thanks for any help ..bruce

I've used a Harley rake on high thick grass and it works fine. It does take several more passes to chew it up but it gets the job done easy. The trick is to not take off to much at a time and set it to full angle left or right. Start high and drop it just a little with every pass.

Everyone near me has skid steer mount harley rakes for rent but no tractor (pto) rakes.

I may end up renting the skid steer and a rake for a weekend to get a job done.

Not knowing where you live in TN...I tell you to search "Harley rake rental" and see if any rental organizations pop up near you...I found several near me...
