Has anyone built a 4 in 1 bucket?

I'm just wondering if anyone has built a 4 in 1 bucket and if so, where did you get the plans? I would think it would be considerably cheaper to build one than buy one, but maybe not. Thanks.

WHen i was 15 my friend Jim Coker built his own for his 5000 Ford, He looked at 3 or 4 different kinds it looks pretty good but the apron on his is round, he wants to chang this a bit theou i have been threatining to make one this summer. Im gonna do my own design, to fit my older model Ford hoe. I may also build a 4 in 1 hoe bucket to

Take a look at as many factory made buckets of this type as possible especially ones close to the size you require and work from there.

I havent made one, but I re-made one that I broke 3 times! let me know if you want the whole story, suffice it to say that factory welds aren't all they're cracked ub to be. Also if you're going to build one give it a double layer floor to resist bending.
