Has anyone came up with a cure for

the throttle on the 4000 series working loose. My 4700 in 200 hours has came loose 3 times. I was thinking of trying a low grade Loc Tite on it. It is getting to be a pain taking the dash apart all the time to tighten the throttle linkage. I know this was a problem with most all of the 4000 series so I hope someone has found a cure for it.

Loctite 242 (blue) will probably help some...but will not cure the problem. Have you ever installed new friction washers?

I replaced the nut on the through bolt at the throttle lever in the upper dash, got a nylock nut at the hardware store.
