I went to this Website Dura-Grader after seeing it here yesterday. Never seen one of these before.

If anyone has experiance, I would love to know about it. I'm wondering if this would be superior to Box Blade for maintaining gravel or dirt roads? I don't think this would be any good at all for moving dirt, just grading. Web site says it has a slope built into it put a crown on the road.

I buy and sell different parcels of land and they usually come standard with a dirt or gravel road full of ruts and no crown. I'm wondering if this thing would pull up and recondition a bad dirt or gravel road in a hurry.

Thanks to anyone who has experiance or knowledge of these things.

At least one member of this forum has one. "1455v" posted a picture in this thread. He indicated then that he would take some pictures and post information about it but I haven't seen it yet. You might PM him for his thoughts.
I've never used one, but a friend has one that he uses extensively to maintain gravel roads on about 1500 acres. He has an old road grader that he bought from the county about 20 years ago but I don't think he's used it since he bought the dura-grader. He said it was the best thing he'd ever seen for gravel road maintenance.

Thanks for the information about this attachment. I scrubbed the Box Blade and instead ordered a 9' Dura-Blade. Weighs over 2200 lbs, has two cutting blades in the box with hydraulic control of angle within the box and a hydraulic control on the top link to control down pressure and angle of attack. Even has a hydraulic blade that raises and lowers at the rear of the box to act like the back of a box blade if you want it to.

Since my wheels are 99" outside to outside, its 108" width will cover them. Until now all I could find was the 96" Box Blades. Anything bigger was a towed rig that could not be backed into material. The Dura-Grader is on the 3ph and will let me raise it to cross rough areas or make tight turns in close quarters. The lowerable rear blade is going to allow me to back into material.

Was very expensive but should last the rest of my and the tractors life. Very glad you pointed this product out. Saved me from buying the box blade since this will do everything it would have and a much better job on road grading.

Thanks again
