I have a CK27HST. I want to do a couple things under the dash and it would be a lot easier if the cover was off.
Thought before I tackle this I would ask if anyone else has done it? I would guess all the models are similar.

I have had mine off numerous times.

I just had mine off again cuz my horn button was getting corroded.

Lots of M6 bolts with 10mm heads. Take off the panel in the middle first.
The starter switch can be unplugged. Pretty easy.

This post prompted me to fix my loose throttle lever after about 4 years of holding it in place while working. yeah, yeah, I know....
Only problem I struck was they had threaded the manual fuel stop cable through a bad spot and I had to let the cable go at the pump before I could lift the dash up.
If I had a correct sized holesaw I would have moved the ignition switch from that stupid place that they put it while I had it all off. I keep bending the key with my knees.
Anyway, Throttle lever clutch is tightened and lubricated and all working well. Should have fixed it years ago but but :ashamed:

I have bent my starter switch, too! Once with my knee, like you did, tho it usually just switches to OFF.
I should relocate mine....

Relocating my speed control lever to the right of my seat was one of my best modifications....I wrote
that up somewhere on TBN...

(BTW, diesels have no ignition switch and no throttle. (-: ).

As an A Grade Mechanic, I know that, but for the sake of the general populace I make exceptions.

I have bent my key many times. Mainly when I am thumping stumps with the bucket, and yes, I have had to restart mine many many times after my knee turned it off. These tractors are designed for Asians with short legs. Just waiting for my key to snap when I straighten it. The spare key also has cracks in it.

The key location on the Kioti does suck. If the Kioti was my tractor I would move the key location.

Easy to do, just gotta get the correct size hole saw and a rubber blanking grommet.
