Yeah, the filtering is the most critical part. And I sure wouldn't run it thru anything that has high rail pressures and expensive injectors. On older diesels, it would be a non issue. The newer ones..... you might run into a lot of fuel filter clogging issues. Many fuel filters on the newer diesels are clear down to between 2 and 7 microns of filtering. Those injectors just can't take a stray particle getting in there and messing things up. But if you have a diesel that is using older injector technology, it might be a good way to use the oil up. Or you could give it to someone in your area that is home brewing biodiesel. They have the filtering to do the job right and also will get the glycerin out. You could buy the finished bio back at a fraction of what bio costs at the pump. Mix it in a 10-20% ratio to regular diesel and have a good time.
