Has anyone used the dura grader

Was looking to buy one of these, has anyone used one or something like it or better.

I need to scrape off the top 6" of top soil and build up a 1.5 acre plot about 18", and get it all level.

Do a search for duragrader. There have been quite a few posts on this attachment and all have been favorable.

You might be better off using a nice box blade. It will move the dirt much better than the Dura Grader. Now the Dura Grader will get your dirt flat faster than a box blade, but you might need to install some sort of rear board or something so that the Dura Grader will move the dirt effectively from point A to point B.

Well removing a 6" layer from 1.5 acres is about 1300 yds of dirt. Building this same plot back up is moving in 5200 yds of dirt. If this is your plan you need some large loaders to get this job done. Where are you going to put the top layer when you remove it? Where are you getting the 24" fill layer from?

This sounds as if it is a job for a contractor to do, not Jancke (spelling?) or TL James but a good size contractor anyway.
