Speaking of leaves, I just received my Brinley lawn sweeper via UPS today. It took me only 45 minutes to put it together BY MYSELF. It looks to be a very well made unit with 6 brushes rather than the 4 on most others. I helped put together one from Lowes with the help of my brother in law and it took us 2 hours due to the badly written instructions. Both lawn sweepers were priced the same but I think the Brinly is much better quality. It is too wet to check it out having rained for the last 2 days straight

I put all my leaves in my compost bins until there full, then they go right on the garden.

Here is how I deal with leaves and pine needles!
I threw this together from stuff laying around the yard.
Of course we rake leaves in the spring when the new leaves push the old ones off of the trees.

I have over 200 trees on my little place. I use the DR leaf vac and their 52" ZT mower. Works great. I run the mower with the vac around the place and fill up the box then out to the hay patch and dump the remnants. Also have a hose for it if you want to vacuum the flower bed, but a leaf blower will do just fine in getting them out and piled up where the aforementioned equipment can pick them up.
