Hi Folks-When my blower was being repaired, I had to get a new 54" plow as I had worn through the wear edge and into the blade itself beyond the bolt holes for a new edge.(Not too smart--I know, but got a good 10 years out of it). I anticipate doing the "stall mat" mod to the new blade so it has an extended rubber wear edge. I was thinking I would weld a new steel cutting edge on the old plow and designate it solely for use as a landscaping/back blading tool. I got to thinking that maybe there is another useful implement I could make with quicktatch convenience. The options appear to be limited- perhaps a front mount thatcher. Another option would be to simply sell the old blade and let the new owner do the welding to revitalize it. What does everyone think?
