have nose in top

hello , i am new at this. have a nose in the top part of motor of a kubota l 2900 gst. does anyone have a ideal what is going on?

Are you able to post pictures? It would be helpful to see exactly the area/problem. A lot of members are good at helping with problems encountered

I think the valves have to be adjusted after a couple hundred hours. Could it be valve train noise that you are hearing? Might need an early adjustment.
